If you would like to donate more to A Friend in Me please do so on the same page where you select the number of tickets you would like to purchase.  A Friend in Me is using a platform called\, Zeffy. We use Zeffy for their efficiency and 100% zero fees platform to sell tickets to ensure every dollar goes towards mental health awareness.  Zeffy\, operates off of donations.  AT CHECKOUT you will see that your total will be more than $23/ticket with a disclaimer from Zeffy suggesting you donate more to keep their platform operating. ***Please click the drop down menu and click “Other” if you do not wish to donate to Zeffy***-ZH **Disclaimer** Parents\, please be advised that some of the content of this event may not be suitable for ages 10 and under. A wide range of mental health topics (including suicide) will be displayed in speech format. Keep in mind suicide rates are on the rise in the middle school age range. Any attendee 10 years of age or younger is not required to hold a ticket to the event.

A Friend in Me motivates others to have more intentional conversation with people in their daily lives while also providing hope to those struggling that things will get better.\nSummer Life Vest features local artists\, retro-country from Sweet Young Twang\, americana-rock from The Racehorse Project and comedy from Atlanta based Comedian Katherine Blanford.\nProceeds from the event will be split between WST Foundation (WST seeks to provide funds and support to individuals seeking help-for more information on who they partner with see the website link) and A Friend in Me for future events in our efforts to raise mental health awareness and to prevent suicide.
